NOW OPEN: LA 133 north of Girard in Richland Parish

*****UPDATE: LA 133, NORTH OF GIRARD, HAS BEEN REOPENED TO TRAFFIC.*****
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, LA 133 will be closed 1.40 miles north of US 80, near Girard, in Richland Parish. This road will remain closed until approximately Friday, February 4, 2022.
The purpose of this road closure is to allow for the necessary replacement of a cross drain pipe.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
PERMIT/DETOUR:
The detour route will be US 80, US 425, and LA 133.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
