The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 73 (Government St) will have the WB right lane closed from East Dr. to Richland Ave. This closure will take place from Friday, December 17, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
This closure has been extended to include the following:
Daily closures will take place from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Monday, December 20,2021 through Thursday, December 23,2021.
All closures are weather permitting.
The lane closures are necessary for sewer repair.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the closure and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
