Northbound Lane Closure and Intersection Delays On LA 385 (Gulf Highway) – Calcasieu Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will have northbound lane closures on LA 385 (Gulf Highway) from Red Bud Lane to Black Bayou on Tuesday, 12/14/21 and Wednesday, 12/15/21 between the hours 8:00 am and 3:30 pm.
Motorists are advised to expect short delays along the route with delays up 30 minutes at the Helms Road and Friesen Road intersections.

The delays are necessary to overlay the route and to allow new asphalt to cool while paving through the intersections. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone by flaggers.
