Lane closures on I-10 EB & WB between LA 108 and I-210 – Calcasieu Parish
The following closure be put in place beginning today, Tuesday, December 7 at 9 a.m. and will remain in place through Friday, December 10 at 9 p.m.
The right lane of I-10 EB between LA 108 and the Maple Fork Bridge will be closed. The auxiliary lane on I-10 EB between the Maple Fork Bridge and I-210 will also be closed. Traffic entering I-10 EB from LA 108 will continue to have their own lane and will be shifted into the right lane of I-10 EB on the East side of the Maple Fork Bridge to allow the closure of the auxiliary lane. No merge will be required for traffic entering I-10 EB from LA 108.
This closure will be for work relating to overhead signs.
From 9 p.m. Wednesday, December 8 through 5 a.m. Thursday, December 9, the middle lane of I-10 EB will be closed between LA 108 and Maple Fork Bridge in addition to the above closure.
This closure will allow the contractor to perform bridge work.
