There will be a roadway closure on US 51 (N. Morrison Blvd.) at the Railroad Track Crossing located 0.34 miles north of US 190 in Hammond, LA. The road will be closed to all traffic in both directions beginning on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 6:00 AM through Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 7:00 PM for railroad crossing and asphalt related work.

Motorists traveling US 51 north may take US 190 west to I-55, then north to LA 3234 (Exit 32), then east to re-intersect US 51.
Motorists traveling US 51 south may take LA 3234 west to I-55, then south to US 190 (Exit 31), then east to re-intersect US 51.
