I-12: US 190 to LA 59 – Ramp Closures – Project #: H.011152 – St. Tammany - SECOND UPDATE

Update: Added closures for milling operations

There will be FULL RAMP CLOSURES on the following dates:

On Saturday night, November 13, 2021 and Monday night, November 15, 2021, US 190 Southbound ON-RAMP to I-12 Eastbound (to Slidell). These closures will be from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, weather permitting. This is for crews to perform striping operations and setting barrier rails.

On Sunday night, November 14, 2021, US 190 Southbound ON-RAMP to I-12 Eastbound (to Slidell). This closure will be from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM, weather permitting. This is for crews to perform asphalt-milling operations.

On Monday morning, November 15, 2021, US 190 Northbound ON-RAMP to I-12 Eastbound (to Slidell). This closure will be from 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM, weather permitting. This closure will take place after US 190 Southbound ON-RAMP has been opened. This is for crews to perform asphalt-milling operations.

On Sunday night, November 14, 2021, I-12 Eastbound to LA 59 OFF-RAMP (Exit 65, Abita Springs/Mandeville). This closure will be from the hours of 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, weather permitting. This is for crews to remove striping on the exit ramp.

Motorists and emergency vehicles will NOT have ramp access during these hours.

Detour Section
Motorists wishing to enter I-12 EB (to Slidell) via US 190 Northbound may continue traveling north on US 190, make a legal U-turn to travel south on US 190 Southbound and use the I-12 EB (Slidell) on-ramp.

Motorists wishing to enter I-12 EB (to Slidell) via US 190 Southbound may continue travelling south on US 190, transition to US 190 Northbound at Judge Tanner Blvd/Fairway Dr., and use the I-12 EB (Slidell) on-ramp.

Motorists traveling on I-12 EB wishing to exit at LA 59 (Exit 65) may continue East on I-12 and exit at LA 1088 West (Exit 68) and transition from LA 1088 West to LA 59.
