UPDATE: 11/15/2021 - Road is OPEN. Work is complete.
LA 968 will have a ROAD CLOSURE 500 feet from the LA 66 intersection in order for the contractor to install a new box culvert. This road will be closed beginning Friday, November 12th at 8:00 AM and will re-open Tuesday, November 16th at 5:00 AM.
Detours will be required using Highland Road. Detour signs will be in place.
Emergency vehicles will NOT have access through the construction site.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site. Please look out for work crews and their equipment.
