NOW OPEN: LA 554 near Collinston in Morehouse Parish

*****UPDATE: LA 554 NEAR PIONEER HAS BEEN REOPENED TO TRAFFIC.*****
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, LA 554 (Perryville Rd.) will be closed 0.65 miles west of LA 139, near Collinston in Morehouse Parish. This road will remain closed until approximately Friday, November 5, 2021.
The purpose of this road closure is to allow for the necessary replacement of a cross drain pipe.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
PERMIT/DETOUR:
The detour route will be US 165, LA 134, LA 139, and LA 554.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
