LTRC is hosting the final 2021 presentation of Professionalism and Ethics to DOTD partners, Private Industry, Consultants, and Local Government on November 3, 2021. Please see below for information to register.
Course Description
LAC Title 46, Part LXI, Chapter 31 lists the biennial CPD requirements for engineers and surveyors as:
For engineers
(A)(1) At least one PDH shall be in professional ethics. Professional ethics concerns the standard of professional conduct and responsibility required of a professional engineer.
For surveyors
(B)(1) At least one PDH shall be in professional ethics. Professional ethics concerns the standard of professional conduct and responsibility required of a professional land surveyor.
This one-hour presentation will cover functions of LAPELS, the investigative process, cite several case studies and review some of the responsibilities of licensed professional engineers and professional land surveyors. It will fulfill the requirement for one PDH in professional ethics.
