UPDATE: I-210 WB, EB lane closures in Calcasieu Parish

Update (10/12): The times have changed for the right lane closure on I-210 eastbound on Friday, October 15. This closure will now be from 9 p.m. on Friday to 3 a.m. on Saturday.

Original notification (10/8):

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that I-210 eastbound and westbound will have nighttime lane closures beginning Wednesday, October 13, 2021.

The lane closures are scheduled as follows.
  • Left lane closure on I-210 westbound at US 90 Business/Broad Street on Wednesday, October 13 from 8 p.m. to Thursday, October 14 at 5 a.m.
  • Right lane closure on I-210 westbound at LA 14 (Gerstner Memorial Boulevard) on Thursday, October 14 from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. (midnight).
  • Right lane closure on I-210 eastbound at US 90 Business/Broad Street on Friday, October 15 from 12 a.m. (midnight) to 4 a.m.
  • Right lane closure on I-210 eastbound at US 90 Business/Broad Street on Friday, October 15 from 9 p.m. to Saturday, October 16 at 3 a.m.

The closures are related to the ongoing project to install live traffic cameras and message boards on I-210. All work is weather permitting.
