UPDATE!! I-10 EB Exit Ramp at Exit 109 (LA 328), St. Martin Parish, Ramp Closure

UPDATE: I-10 eastbound exit ramp at Exit 109 (LA 328) will be closed on Tuesday, October 12 at 12:00 a.m. until Tuesday, October 12 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

I-10 eastbound exit ramp at Exit 109 (LA 328) will be closed on the following nights, weather permitting:
  • Monday, October 11 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, October 12 at 1:00 a.m. - CANCELED!!!
  • Wednesday, October 13 at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, October 14 at 6:00 a.m. - CANCELED!!!
These closures are necessary to allow crews to stripe the roadway and install overhead sign structures.

The detour for traffic is I-10 Eastbound to Exit 115 (LA 347 exit ramp), LA 347 to I-10 Westbound, and I-10 Westbound to Exit 109 (LA 328).
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in summer 2021.
