EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE: LA 443 will be closed in both directions at a location approximately 0.4 miles north of River Rd. (or 0.6 miles south of Tangipahoa River Bridge) beginning Tuesday, September 28, 2021 through Friday, October 1, 2021 (weather permitting) while maintenance crews replace a cross drain. This notice will be updated as conditions change.

Suggested Detour:
Motorists may take the following detour to avoid the road closure:
Motorists traveling LA 443 north may take LA 1064 west to LA 1065, then north to LA 442, then east to re-intersect LA 443.
Motorists traveling LA 443 south may take LA 442 west to LA 1065, then south to LA 1064, then east to re-intersect LA 443.
