***UPDATE*** Cameron Ferry has REOPENED
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the Cameron Ferry has reopened.

Maintenance scheduled for Cameron Ferry

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the Cameron Ferry will suspend service on Monday, September 27 at 8 p.m. for approximately 6 hours.

This will allow crews to service both engines and perform routine maintenance work. The ferry will resume service as soon as the work is complete.

Motorists are encouraged to visit MyDOTD to view and receive scheduled closures and press release notices via email. Call 511 or visit www.511la.org for additional information. Out-of-state travelers may call 1-800-ROAD-511 (1-800-762-3511).
