UPDATE: Alternating lane closures on I-10 EB between Exit 4 and Exit 8 – Calcasieu Parish

Update (10/7): This closure has been extended to Friday night with the below times.
  • Friday, October 8, from 8 p.m. to Saturday, October 9, at 9 a.m.
Update (9/29): Due to weather, this closure has been postponed to Monday, October 4 through Thursday, October 6 with the same times.

Original notification (9/24)

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces alternating lane closures on I-10 eastbound between Exit 4 (US 90/LA 109) and Exit 8 (LA 108/Gum Cove Road) beginning Tuesday, September 28 to Thursday, September 30 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night.

The lane closures will allow the contractor to repair guardrail. All work is weather permitting.
