DOTD opens Butte LaRose boat landing in St. Martin Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the Butte LaRose boat landing near the Atchafalaya Welcome Center in St. Martin Parish is open.

The boat ramp was closed in August due to low water levels caused by the drawdown at Henderson Lake.

DOTD will continue to monitor water levels and will advise when another closure is required in the future.
