UPDATE: This closure has been extended until Friday, September 10, weather permitting.
The eastbound lane of LA 14 will be shifted into the center lane approximately 300 ft. before it intersects with LA 35, beginning Monday, August 23 until Friday, September 3, weather permitting.
The eastbound traffic will use the center lane as a left turn, straight and/or right turn lane during this 2-week period.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to perform drainage work at the intersection.
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
