There will be road work along I-12 between Satsuma Exit and LA 1249 at the following locations.
Mainline I-12:
1) I-12, Eastbound Inside and Outside Lanes, from Approx. 1.45 miles East of LA 63 (Livingston) to 1.25 miles East of LA 43 (Albany), will have alternating lanes closures from Tuesday, August 24, 2021 through Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 9:00 pm - 5:00 am (weather permitting). One lane will remain open at all times. These lane closures are to allow crews to lay asphalt on the roadway.
Detour: Motorists wanting to avoid this construction zone can use the following detour(s).
2) I-12, Westbound Inside and Outside Lanes, from Approx. 1.25 miles East of LA 43 (Albany) to LA 63 (Livingston), will have alternating lanes closures on Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 9:00 pm - 5:00 am, (weather permitting). One lane will remain open at all times. These lane closures are to allow crews to lay asphalt on the roadway.
Detour: Motorists wanting to avoid this construction zone can use the following detour(s).
- Westbound motorists I-12 motorists may take I-55 North to US 190 West to LA 447 South back to I-12 West.
3) I-12, Westbound Outside Lane, from 1.5 miles East of LA 63 (Livingston) to LA 63 (Livingston) will be closed on Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 9:00 pm - 5:00 am, (weather permitting). One lane will remain open at all times. This lane closure is to allow crews to remove and replace guardrail on the project. **CANCELLED**

- Westbound motorists I-12 motorists may take LA 441 North to US 190 West to LA 447 South back to I-12 West.
4) I-12, Westbound Outside Lane, from .50 miles East of LA 63 (Livingston) to LA 63 (Livingston) will be closed from Tuesday, August 24, 2021 through Wednesday, August 25, 2021, from 9:00 pm - 5:00 am, nightly (weather permitting). One lane will remain open at all times. This lane closure is to allow crews to remove and replace guardrail on the project.

- Westbound motorists I-12 motorists may take LA 441 North to US 190 West to LA 447 South back to I-12 West.
5) I-12, Eastbound Outside Lane, from .50 miles West of LA 63 (Livingston) to LA 63 (Livingston) will be closed on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 9:00 pm - 5:00 am, (weather permitting). One lane will remain open at all times. This lane closure is to allow crews to remove and replace guardrail on the project.
Detour: Motorists wanting to avoid this construction zone can use the following detour(s).
- Eastbound motorists I-12 motorists may take LA 447 North to US 190 East to LA 441 South back to I-12 East.
Overpasses and on/off ramps:
1) The Albany overpass crossing I-12 (LA 43, Exit 32) will be reduced to one lane with intermittent flagging operations, from Monday, August 23, 2021 through Friday, August 27, 2021, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, daily (weather permitting). These closures are to allow crews to complete curb work on the South Side of the overpass. Traffic will be maintained at all times. Motorists wanting to avoid this work zone may use the detours listed below.
Detour(s) for Overpass Motorists:
- Northbound Motorists wanting to avoid the construction may take LA 43 South to LA 42 West to LA 441 North to US 190.
- Southbound Motorists wanting to avoid the construction may take LA 43 North to LA US 190 West to LA 441 South to LA 42.
2) I-12 Westbound and Eastbound traffic using the on/off ramps at Exit #22 (LA 63 - Livingston) will be shifted to the adjacent shoulder and in addition the Livingston overpass crossing I-12 will be reduced to one lane with intermittent flagging operations, from Monday, August 23, 2021 through Friday, August 27, 2021, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, daily (weather permitting). These closures are to allow crews to work on the ramps and overpass. Traffic will be maintained at all times. Motorists wanting to avoid this work zone may use the detours listed below.
Detour(s) for I-12 Off Ramp traffic at the Livingston Exit:
- Westbound I-12 motorists may take LA 441 North to US 190 West to LA 63.
- Eastbound I-12 motorists may take LA 447 North to US 190 East to LA 63
Detour(s) for I-12 On Ramp traffic at the Livingston Exit:
- Westbound I-12 motorists may take LA 63 North to US 190 West to LA 447 South back to I-12.
- Eastbound I-12 motorists may take LA 63 North to US 190 East to LA 441 South back to I-12.
3) The Holden overpass crossing I-12 (LA 441, Exit 29) will be reduced to one lane with intermittent flagging operations, from Monday, August 23, 2021 through Friday, August 27, 2021, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, daily (weather permitting). These closures are to allow crews to complete curb work on the overpass. Traffic will be maintained at all times. Motorists wanting to avoid this work zone may use the detours listed below.

- Northbound Motorists wanting to avoid the construction may take LA 441 South to LA 42 West to LA 63 North to US 190.
