NOW OPEN: LA 542 near Jonesboro in Jackson Parish

*****UPDATE: LA 542 NEAR JONESBORO HAS BEEN REOPENED TO TRAFFIC.*****
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the bridge on LA 542 (Beech Springs Rd.) near Jonesboro in Jackson Parish is closed, approximately 0.5 miles east of US 167.
The bridge will be closed for approximately 2 weeks, so that necessary repairs can be made.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
