UPDATE: Lane closures on I-10 WB, EB near the Texas state line – Calcasieu Parish

Original notification ( 8/13/21):

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that I-10 westbound and eastbound near Texas state line will have lane closures as follows.
  • I-10 westbound from the weigh station to the Texas state line will have a right lane closure nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 and Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
  • I-10 westbound will have alternating lane closures between Exit 4 (US 90/LA 109) and the Texas state line on Thursday, August 19, 2021, from 7 p.m. to Friday, August 20, 2021 at 6 a.m.
  • I-10 eastbound will have alternating lane closures between the weigh station and Exit 4 (US 90/LA 109) on Thursday, August 19, 2021, from 7 p.m. to Friday, August 20, 2021 at 6 a.m.
  • I-10 westbound and eastbound will have alternating lane closures between the weigh station and Exit 4 (US 90/LA 109) on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 8 p.m. to Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 9 a.m.
The lane closures will allow the contractor to move temporary concrete barriers and perform asphalt work at the Sabine Relief Bridge. All work is weather permitting.
