UPDATE: THIS CLOSURE HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER.
The outside lane of LA 328 (Rees Street), southbound, from Broussard Street to LA 94 (E. Mills Avenue) will be closed from Friday, August 13 at 8:00 p.m. to Sunday, August 15 at 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to install concrete pavement widening within the intersection.
The road will be open to regular traffic with no lane restrictions on oversized loads passing through the work zone. Vehicles will be able to turn right onto LA 94 from the inside lane of LA 328.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays.
No detour is necessary.
