UPDATE: NOW OPEN!!
The Estherwood Pontoon Bridge on LA 91 will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning Thursday, August 12, for bridge repairs.
This work is estimated to take place from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The detour consists of LA 91, US 90, LA 13, and I-10.
Emergency vehicles will not have access through the area.
