Nighttime closures on I-10, US 171 in Lake Charles – Calcasieu Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, there will be nighttime closures on I-10 from Enterprise Boulevard to east of Shattuck Street and on US 171 between Griffin Street and the I-10 overpass in Calcasieu Parish.
The closure schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday, August 10, from 8 p.m. to Wednesday, August 11, at 5 a.m. - alternating lane closures on I-10 westbound
- Wednesday, August 11, from 8 p.m. to Thursday, August 12, at 5 a.m. – right lane closure on US 171 southbound
These closures will allow the contractor to finish the installation of the overhead truss signs on I-10 at Enterprise Boulevard and US 171 at I-10. All work is weather dependent.
