The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on today, August 4, 2021 at 8:00 AM, weather permitting, the Southbound outside lane on I-49 will be closed to repair the roadway surface.
Permit/Detour section
No detour will be needed as one lane will be open at all times

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution around the construction sites and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
