LANE CLOSURES: I-10 AND I-59 IN ST. TAMMANY PARISH (H.012457) - SECOND UPDATE DUE TO WEATHER

SECOND UPDATE - DATES HAVE BEEN PUSHED BACK BY ONE DAY DUE TO WEATHER.
The following lane closures will be needed in preparation for installation of new signs on I-10 and I-59 in St. Tammany Parish:
On Wednesday Night (8/4/21) from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, a single left lane closure on I-59 NB & I-59 SB between the I-10/I-12/I-59 interchange and the I-59 SB Rest Area. This will be used to set concrete barriers on both sides of the median. A single right lane closure on I-59 SB will then be necessary to set concrete barriers on the outside shoulder.
On Thursday Night (8/5/21) from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, a single left lane closure on I-10 EB & WB from approx. between the I-10 Welcome Center/Rest Area and the I-10/I-12/I-59 interchange. A temporary closure of the Rest Area may also occur during this time period. This will be used to set concrete barriers on both sides of the median and on the outside shoulder.
On Friday Night (8/6/21) from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, a single right lane closure on I-10 WB between the I-10/I-12/I-59 interchange and LA 433 Old Spanish Trail. This will be used to set concrete barriers.
There will not be any vehicle restrictions and emergency vehicles will have access. Motorists may encounter moderate to heavy delays during this time.
Motorists may choose US 90 or US 11 as alternate routes.
