UPDATE: LA 16 in Amite, LA at Railroad Tracks- TANGIPAHOA PARISH

UPDATE OF DATES/TIMES:
There will be a roadway closure on LA 16 in Amite at the railroad tracks beginning at 6:00 AM, on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, through 6:00 PM, Thursday, July 22, 2021, for railroad crossing and asphalt related work.
Permit/Detour Section:
Motorists may use the following detour to avoid the road closure:
Motorists traveling LA 16 east may take US 51 north to LA 10, then east to LA 1054, then south to re-intersect LA 16.
Motorists traveling LA 16 west may take LA 1054 north to LA 10, then west to US 51, then south to re-intersect LA 16.
