The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Thursday, July 15, 2021, the I-220 westbound bridge over the Red River will be reduced to one (1) lane of traffic.

This lane closure is scheduled to take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and is necessary to allow for routine bridge inspection.

This bridge is located approximately 2.3 miles west of LA 3 (Benton Road).

Restrictions/Permits: Width restriction in place. Vehicles should detour as appropriate.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

Safety Reminder:

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
