UPDATE - REOPENED: US 80 overpass at I-20 near Texas state line, Caddo Parish
(UPDATE: 7/20/2021): DOTD advises motorists that repairs to the US 80 overpass west of the Town of Greenwood in Caddo Parish are complete, and the bridge has been REOPENED. Please travel safely.

Original notification:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, effective immediately, the US 80 overpass at I-20 – approximately two (2) miles west of the Town of Greenwood – near the Texas state line in Caddo Parish is CLOSED.
This closure is to allow for DOTD crews to make repairs to the bridge deck.
This road closure will be removed once the bridge repairs are complete.
Alternate route: I-20
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure on US80. All vehicles need to detour using I-20.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
