LA 44 (Main St.) between LA 628 and US 61- ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH

There will be a roadway closure on LA 44 (Main Street) in Laplace at the railroad tracks between LA 628 and US 61 (approximately 0.1 miles south of US 61 and 0.21 miles north of LA 628). The road will be closed from 6:00 AM, on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, through 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 15, 2021, for railroad and asphalt related work.
Permit/Detour Section:
Motorists may use the following detour to avoid the road closure:
Motorists traveling LA 44 south may take US 61 west to LA 3223, then south to re-intersect LA 44.
Motorists traveling LA 44 north may take LA 44 west to LA 3223, then north to US 61, then east to re-intersect LA 44.
