I-10 EB & WB from Exit 103 (I-49) to Exit 109 (LA 328), Lafayette and St. Martin Parishes - Lane Closures
Tuesday, July 06, 2021 at 9:42:23 AM
There will be nightly lane closures between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on both I-10 eastbound & westbound from Exit 103 (I-49) to Exit 109 (LA 328) beginning Tuesday, July 6 until Thursday, July 15, weather permitting.

These closures are necessary to allow crews to apply epoxy overlay to bridge decks and install bridge deck joint seals.

There will be no vehicle width restrictions associated with this lane closure.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays. No detour route is necessary.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in summer 2021.
