(UPDATE 7/20/2021): DOTD advises motorists that KCS has canceled this road closure. DOTD will issue further communication if the work is rescheduled for a future date. We appreciate the public's patience.

(UPDATE 7/12/2021): DOTD advises motorists that this road closure has been rescheduled to take place on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. The closure is scheduled to take place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Original notification:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, LA 3015 at the Kansas City Southern Railroad tracks near the intersection with LA 175 in DeSoto Parish will be closed.
This closure is scheduled to take place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for one (1) day.
It is located approximately five (5) miles north of the Town of Mansfield, and is necessary to allow KCS to make repairs to their tracks.
Alternate route: Detour signage will be in place directing motorists to LA 174 to US 84 to US 171 through the Town of Mansfield.
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the railroad tracks. All vehicles must detour.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
