I-12 Eastbound and Westbound – Partial Road Closure – Project #: H.013866 – St. Tammany Parish
On Friday, July 9, 2021, to Saturday, July 10, 2021, there will be alternating single lane closures on Eastbound and Westbound traffic of I-12, between LA 1077 Mile Post 58 and US 190 Mile Post 63. This is for crews to move temporary concrete barriers, install signage, perform striping operations and truss sign removal.
These closures will occur nightly, weather permitting. See details below.
Sunday thru Thursday the closures will be from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Friday and Saturday the closures will be from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
One lane will remain open at all times. There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access on I-12. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time.
In addition, there will also be intermittent rolling roadblock closures on both directions of I-12, between LA 1077 Mile Post 58 and US 190 Mile Post 63, less than 20 minutes in duration, for the crews to perform truss removal. This will be from the hours of 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM, weather permitting.
