The purpose for constructing this innovative type of intersection is two-fold to improve safety and to improve traffic flow.

Current work:
The contractor is in the process of removing the base course for the LA 8/LA 28 westbound lanes.

Completed work:
The contractor has removed the existing pavement on the US 171 southbound lanes.
