I-10 EB & WB from Exit 109 (LA 328) to Exit 103 (I-49), Lafayette & St. Martin Parishes, Lane Closures
Monday, June 21, 2021 at 8:20:01 AM
I-10 eastbound & westbound from Exit 103 (I-49) to Exit 109 (LA 328) will have nightly lane closures beginning Wednesday, June 23 until Friday, July 2, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

These closures are necessary to allow crews to resurface existing bridge decks and erect overhead sign structures.

There will be no vehicle width restrictions associated with this lane closure.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays. No detour route is necessary.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in summer 2021.
