UPDATE: NOW OPEN: I-10 westbound at mile marker 65, LA 97 exit ramp – Jefferson Davis Parish

UPDATE: I-10 westbound and the LA 97 exit ramp have reopened.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there is currently an emergency lane closure on I-10 westbound at mile marker 65 and a ramp closure for the LA 97 exit ramp in Jefferson Davis Parish near the Acadia Parish line due to a crash involving an 18-wheeler.

Emergency personnel are on scene working to clear the crash. Motorists should expect possible congestion in the area. DOTD will issue a notification when the lane and ramp have reopened.
