NEW UPDATE: US 190 at I-12 Overpass – Project #: H.011152 – St. Tammany
On Monday, June 21, 2021 to Thursday, June 24, 2021 there will be a FULL RAMP CLOSURE of the I-12 Westbound off-ramp to US 190 East (Exit 63A). This closure will be from the hours of 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, weather permitting. This is for crews to perform bridge demolition on the I-12 Overpass bridge.
On Monday, June 21, 2021 to Thursday, June 24, 2021 there will also be intermittent rolling roadblock closures on BOTH directions of US 190 at the I-12 Overpass, less than 15 minutes in duration, for the crews to perform bridge demolition. This will be from the hours of 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, weather permitting.
There will be no vehicle restrictions and emergency vehicles will have access on US 190. Motorists may encounter a delay during this time.
Detour Section
Motorists traveling on I-12 WB wishing to exit US 190 East (Exit 63A) may take Exit 63B towards US 190 West and make a legal U-turn to get on US 190 East.
