Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 3:28:04 PM
UPDATE: This closure has been cancelled. Thank you for your patience.

The I-10 westbound exit ramp at Exit 103B (I-49 Northbound) will be closed on the following nights, weather permitting:
  • Wednesday, June 16 at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, June 17 at 6:00 a.m.
  • Thursday, June 17 at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, June 18 at 6:00 a.m.
These closures are necessary to allow crews to install overhead sign structures.

The detour for traffic will be to utilize the interchange clover leaf ramps by taking Exit 103A (US 167 South exit ramp), Exit 1A (I-10 Eastbound entrance ramp), and I-49 Northbound via Exit 103B.

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in summer 2021.
