UPDATE: NOW OPEN!!!
LA 29 (Whiteville Road) southbound bridge over Bayou Cocodrie, at the Evangeline/St. Landry Parish Line, approximately 0.15 miles west of I-49, will be closed beginning Thursday, June 17 at 10:00 a.m. until Thursday, June 24 at 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to perform bridge repairs.
The detour will consist of I-49, LA 103, and LA 363.
Emergency vehicles will not have access through the area.
