ROAD CLOSURE: US 80, just east of Gibsland, Bienville Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Thursday, June 17, 2021, both directions of US 80 at the Kansas City Southern railroad crossing just east of Gibsland, Bienville Parish will be closed.
This closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 17th through 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 18th.
This closure is necessary to allow KCS to perform repairs to the railroad tracks at this location.
Alternate route: I-20
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the railroad crossing. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
