ATTENTION: Government St. Detour @ Railroad Crossing
Government St. (LA 73) will have a full road closure scheduled for this weekend that will NOT allow through traffic from Iberville St. to S. 16th St. This closure will be scheduled from 7:00 PM Friday, June 11 to 6:00 AM Monday, June 14, 2021. Detour route will utilize Florida Blvd (US 190).
This closure is necessary for asphalt milling and pavement operations near the railroad crossing on Government St.
This closure is subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
LA DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
