I-10 EB Exit Ramp at Exit 109 - LA 328 (Breaux Bridge), St. Martin Parish, Ramp Closure

UPDATE: The closure previously scheduled for Wednesday, June 9 at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, June 10 at 6:00 a.m. has been canceled.
The I-10 eastbound exit ramp at Exit 109 - LA 328 (Breaux Bridge) will be closed on the following nights, weather permitting:
  • Wednesday, June 9 at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, June 10 at 6:00 a.m. ----- CANCELED
  • Thursday, June 10 at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, June 11 at 6:00 a.m.

These closures are necessary to allow crews to perform asphalt operations on the roadway.

The detour for traffic is to take I-10 Eastbound to Exit 115 (LA 347 exit ramp), LA 347 to I-10 Westbound, and I-10 Westbound to Exit 109 (LA 328).
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in summer 2021.
