EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE: LA 442, between Puls Rd. and Finch Ln. (east of Tangipahoa River Bridge) will remain closed in both directions until Thursday, June 24, 2021, until 5:00 PM, (weather permitting) while maintenance crews replace a cross drain. This notice will be updated as conditions change.

SUGGESTED DETOUR:

Motorists traveling east may take LA 1065 south to LA 1064, then east to LA 443, then north to re-intersect LA 442.

Motorists traveling west may take LA 443 south to LA 1064, then west to LA 1065, then north to re-intersect LA 442.

DOTD reminds motorists to stay alert to hazardous conditions, drive only when necessary, and drive with caution.
