UPDATED: I-12 Westbound and US 190 – Project #: H.011152 – St. Tammany
On Thursday, June 10, 2021 there will be a left lane closure on I-12 Westbound between LA 59 (Mile Marker 66) and US 190 (Mile Marker 63). This closure will be from the hours of 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, weather permitting. This is for crews to pour the I-12 Overpass bridge deck.
From Monday, June 14, 2021 to Saturday, June 19, 2021 there will be alternating lane closures on BOTH directions of US 190 at the I-12 Overpass. These closures will be from the hours of 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, weather permitting. Additionally, there will be intermittent rolling roadblock closures less than 15 minutes in duration, in order to install decking on the I-12 Overpass bridge.
From Thursday, June 17, 2021 to Saturday, June 19, 2021 there will be FULL RAMP CLOSURES of the I-12 Westbound off-ramp to US 190 East (Exit 63A). These closures will be from the hours of 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, weather permitting. This is for crews to install decking on the I-12 Overpass bridge.
There will be no vehicle restrictions and emergency vehicles will have access on US 190. Motorists may encounter a delay during this time.
Detour Section
Motorists traveling on I-12 WB wishing to exit US 190 East (Exit 63A) may take Exit 63B towards US 190 West and make a legal U-turn to get on US 190 East.
