**UPDATE**LA 1 - West Baton Rouge and Iberville Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 1 will have alternating lane closures, in both Northbound and Southbound directions, from the Intracoastal Bridge to LA 75 beginning Thursday, June 3, 2021; and will remain in effect until further notice. . These closures will take place from 7:00 pm to 4:00 am Monday thru Friday and from 7:00 pm Friday to 4:00 am Monday in the Southbound direction, and from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am Monday thru Friday and from 8:00 pm Friday to 5:00 am Monday in the Northbound direction.
These closures are needed to patch, mill, and resurface the roadway.
Permit load restrictions will be up to 12 feet wide; anything over, please contact the permit office.
