ROAD CLOSURE: LA 511 (W. 70th St.) east of US 171, Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Saturday, June 12, 2021, LA 511 (W. 70th Street) immediately east of US 171 (Mansfield Road) in Shreveport, Caddo Parish will be closed at the Union Pacific railroad crossing.
This nighttime closure is scheduled to take place from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., and is necessary to allow Union Pacific to perform repairs to their tracks.
Alternate route: Linwood Avenue. Detour signage will be in place.
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the railroad crossing. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
