NOW OPEN I-10 EB Exit and Entrance Ramps at Exit 121 (Butte La Rose), St. Martin Parish, Ramps Closed

UPDATE: Due to construction delays, this closure has been extended until Thursday, October 28 at 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The I-10 eastbound exit and entrance ramps at Exit 121 (Butte La Rose) will be closed beginning Thursday, June 3 at 6:00 a.m. until Wednesday, June 30, at 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The closure is necessary for construction of new asphalt overlay ramps.
During the closure period of the eastbound ramps, motorists will only be able to access the Butte La Rose Rest Area and Tourist Information Center via the posted detour.
The westbound ramps will remain open until construction is completed on the eastbound ramps to allow traffic to access the area by utilizing detour routes.
Detour during the closure of the eastbound ramps is I-10 eastbound to Whiskey Bay Exit (Exit 127) to I-10 westbound entrance ramp to I-10 westbound Butte La Rose (Exit 121).
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the ramps during construction. Detour routes will be posted during the construction.
There will be no vehicle width restrictions associated with this work.
