Road closure at the railroad crossing on LA 379 (Miller Ave.) between Kile St. and Railroad Ave. – Calcasieu Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 379 (Miller Avenue) at the railroad crossing between Kile Street and Railroad Avenue will be closed on Monday, June 7, 2021, from 6 p.m. to Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 6 p.m..

The closure will allow the railroad company to make repairs to the crossing. Detour route is LA 378 (Sampson Street), LA 379 (I-10 Frontage Road), and LA 379 (Sulphur Avenue). All work is weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
