All lanes now open.
Beginning immediately, May 28th, 2021, the Southbound section of LA 1 between LA 77 and Meriam Street in Plaquemine will be closed for emergency manhole replacement and repair. This closure should remain in place until noon on Saturday, May 29th, 2021.
DOTD appreciates your patience, and reminds you to please drive with caution through construction sites, and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
