***UPDATE: Cameron Ferry is OPEN - Cameron Parish

UPDATE: The Cameron Ferry is back in service effective immediately.

Previous notification:

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the Cameron Ferry will be out of service effective immediately today, Wednesday, May 26, 2021, until further notice.

The closure is necessary due to maintenance repairs which are expected to last a short time.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
