Linton Road bridge replacement project, Bossier Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that work is progressing on the Linton Road bridge replacement project over Black Bayou Reservoir in Bossier Parish.

On Thursday, May 27, 2021, the contractor will begin removing components of the old structure, and people are asked to avoid boating or walking near the project site over the next several months as this work continues.

This request is to help ensure the safety of the community while work moves forward on the process of removing the existing bridge.

Alternate route: Road is already closed. Detour signage is in place.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
