*UPDATE* LA 1 Intracoastal Bridge Emergency Closure – West Baton Rouge Parish

*ALL LANES ARE NOW OPEN.*
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 1 Southbound will have the right lane closed on the Intracoastal Bridge. The lane will remain closed until the necessary repairs are made to a joint that has begun to fail. Crews are on site and are working to resolve this issue.
This closure is needed to repair a failing joint on the Intracoastal Bridge.
Permit load restrictions will be up to 12 feet wide; anything over, please contact the permit office.
